NEW PARENTS

It all began with the program for expectant mothers and fathers of children under 3 years old. It blossomed into a surge in skills and energy, touching over 70 Italian companies in just a few years, involving 8,000 parents and including 2,500 fathers. It has breathed life into a pilot project in 23 countries all over the world.

It all began with the program for expectant mothers and fathers of children under 3 years old. It blossomed into a surge in skills and energy, touching over 70 Italian companies in just a few years, involving 7,000 parents and including 2,500 fathers. It has breathed life into a pilot project in 23 countries all over the world.

Fresh out of the program, the mothers returned to work with a pride in their newly strengthened skills.
The new fathers were also mindful of how their new role had made them more flexible, empathetic, motivated and able.

Their responses, feedback and the program impact in the company confirmed and solidified the Life Based Value research in terms of the value of transilience. It’s the ability to adapt to change, moving from one role to another in both private and professional spheres.

CARE

Our care program landed in 2020. It’s the program dedicated to employees that look after a dependent parent, often while they are still caring for their own children.

There are lots of them within companies, less visible than new parents but much higher in number. There’s always lots to learn, even when we’re being overloaded or worried. This life phase strengthens dedication, attention, empathy, patience, all the skills that empower both people and companies have good relationships and carry out their work in an efficient way.

This social environment is the HUB: the biggest Life Based Learning area that merges everyone’s experiences to help people connect, share and recharge.

In the HUB people talk about their experiences and learnings throughout the program. It’s a space to discuss hot topics about care, life and work. It’s a space to network with like-minded people.

In the HUB there’s space for everyone: from talking about feelings to practical suggestions, from themed forums to a “welfare marketplace” where the company can offer services from themselves or trusted partners.

The program ends, but the community continues.

In fact, it becomes a social environment for sharing and learning. It’s ever evolving as new program alumni join us from a range of Life Ready companies.
